The stench of death could be smelled here as he breathed in the toxic air. Flakes of what appeared to be snow fell all around him. But he soon reliezed it was not snow at all, but ash. The broken remains of buildings stretched to the clouded green sky, remnants of a once great civilization.
He lifted his hand and from it erupted a wisp of light. The light snake danced in the sickening fog in a greenish bright hue as its master looked on at the landscape. He felt no pain, no wind against his face, no cold nor heat, no hunger..Only madness as a fang-filled grin swept across his face when dark thoughts plagued his mind.
Unholy snake of flesh and cold steel born in a land of eternal winter....
Blah ignore my crappy story writing. Anyways, this is Cyber Dankh, an alternate form that just randomly came to mind while watching my sister play Metroid Prime. I put him in an post apocolyptic setting after seeing several images on DA with similar themes. Cyber Dankh is a bio-cybernetic experiment gone wrong in a post-nuclear world, the product of some madman.
Wow, like how you did this picture. Especially Danny's look on his face.

Your writing is so not crappy! I *love* that descriptive narrative, it really adds to the awesomeness of the picture!!!
And of course you already know how much I love the picture because I've been drooling over it for a while now So I'll stop babbling and get some sleep.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
